Kids
Fusing the art of play with traditional yoga these classes offer a fun yoga sequence for kids between the ages of 5-10 years old. In each class, children will:
- explore their imagination, participating in a fantasy world revolving around the animal and plant kingdoms
- develop their physical strength, fitness, flexibility, coordination and endurance while cultivating balance, concentration and stillness
- learn safe and effective body movements, postures and breathing exercises that prepare them for adult yoga in the future
Level 1 classes are a great place for kids to begin yoga. Classes are exciting, energetic and well-structured with time to focus as well as play. These classes create a confident foundation for yoga and meditation that can take children into their growing years.
Level 2 is a fantastic new class for kids who have moved past the Level 1 stage. Postures will be taught in a sequence to create a flowing yoga practice. The class will be structured as a course and will build from week to week to inspire the kids interest and build a yoga practice for them.
