Wake Up For Water: 18 x 6am classes in 9 weeks
This Water sequence (9 April - 10 June) we challenge you to begin an early morning practice: attend at least 18 x 6am classes over 9 weeks. Now is the perfect time – daylight saving has ended so you have an extra hour up your sleeve. We guarantee that with regular morning practice you will see some big changes in body and mind!
6am yoga practice… are you serious?
Right now, you are probably asking yourself “Why should I get out of my nice warm bed to practice yoga?” Because you will feel amazing – not just for the rest of the day, but over the long term. Practising yoga regularly will boost your circulatory and immune systems, so you stay healthier over the colder months ahead. Early morning is the best time to practice – your body will thank you for getting it moving, and your mind is at its clearest. The motivation that it takes to get you out of bed will keep you going throughout the day. You will feel strong, supple and satisfied that you have done something for yourself before setting foot into the outside world.
How to do it...
- Register in class
- Grab a copy of the timetable and start planning your routine
- Get your things ready for yoga the night before
- Until you get used to waking early, eat early the night before and go to bed before 10pm
- When the alarm goes off – don’t hit SNOOZE, just get your butt out of bed!

Once you walk in the door, the hard part is over. Unroll your mat, lie back and enjoy the ride. We will guide you through the next 60-90 minutes of bliss and you will walk out feeling relaxed, alert and energised. Your body will feel stiffer in the morning, so ease into it and cultivate a practice that you want to keep getting up for.

The first 6am class for Water sequence is on Tuesday 10 April at both Bondi and Newtown. We offer 1 Hour, Level 2 and Level 3 classes – if you start from the beginning of the sequence, you’ll find transitioning into Level 2 and 3 classes is surprisingly easy.
